Bhindi masala with missi roti...!!!


    Bhindi masala or spicy okra is all time favorite of everyone, so today I am going to share my recipe of bhindi masala with missi roti. Okra is rich in dietary fiber Vitamin C and Vitamin K, It has zero fats and very less carbohydrates. Missi roti is made of Gram flour and wheat, it's rich in nutrients and fibers and it also helps reduce weight because after eating this you feel full for longer.. So I am sharing my recipe with you all..

For Bhindi masala or Spicy Okra
Ingredients-
1/2 Kg  of Okra (bhindi)(cut into Batonnet or into 1 inch)
1 Large size onion (chopped)
8-10 Cloves of Garlic(chopped)
3 tbsp of Mustard oil or Vegetable oil(I Prefer Mustard Oil)
1/4 tsp of Cumin Seeds
1/2 tbsp of Fennel seeds(Saunf) (Roasted and coarsely grinded)
1/2 tsp of Dry mango Powder
1/4 tsp of Turmeric Powder
1/4 tsp of Coriander powder
1/2 tsp of green chili(chopped)
1/4 or less tsp of red chili Powder
1/4 tsp of Asafetida
1/4 tsp Salt


Method-
Take wok and heat oil then crackle cumin seeds, add asafetida then sorte Garlic and onions for few minutes then add turmeric, red chili  powder , Coriander powder, green chili and add okras and sprinkle salt and keep the lid and let it cook, keep stirring at regular intervals to check if it's cooked or not after it's done add fennel seeds and dry mango powder and keep the lid again for a minute and serve.

For Missi Roti-
Ingredients-
1 cup Gram flour (besan)
1/3 cup wheat flour (gehu ka atta)
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/4 tsp Carrom seeds
1 Green chili (chopped)
1/4 tsp Ginger (graded)
1 tbsp Onion (chopped)
1/4 tsp Asafetida
1/4 tsp Fennel seeds (Coarsely blended)(Optional)
1/2 tsp Clarified butter or Ghee
salt to Taste
Water to make the Dough

Method- Mix all the above ingedients  and make a dough and let it rest for !5 minutes then make chapatis and serve hot after applying ghee or butter.
